recover trash from Dolphin

Asked by clombard

I somehow deleted all the files in my folder. I can see (and open) all the deleted files in Dolphin Trash.
I can select all then copy but can not paste them anywhere.
Can I restore or copy these files...?
thanks

Hi clombard,

if you right click on a file (or all files together) and don't you have an option to RESTORE these files ?

Maybe this option is not in the right click , but somewhere in the menu .. search it. Dolphin must have such option (RESTORE) , but I cannot remember now , where exactly is.

Yes I just found that option (right click) and restored most of them.
On a few files I got the message cannot restore...
the "directory home/charles/desktop does not exists.
recreate that directory or drag to a new location"
Can not drag or copy and paste them...tried to create
a dirctory but must not be right.
How can I recreate that directory...?
thanks

Then make the folder. The OS has told you what is required. .....

Can you help with this problem?
