booting problems with ubuntu 12.04 on hp envy dv6 (graphics card recognition)
Hello
I use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
starting the computer appears the message:
'the system is running in low-graphics mode' (screen, graphics card and input device settings could not be detected correctly. You will need to configure these yourself) -> ok -> 'what would you like to do? -> recofigure -> how? -> use default: here the system hangs. On pressing ctr-alt-del the system restarts with ubuntu which shows later an internal error message, which may be ignored without consequences. The system information shows the graphics card as 'unknown'. I had this problem 2 weeks ago, for the last two weeks the system booted directly, now the problem started over again.
Moreover the hardware control of the touch pad does not work. By software control it can not be put off, only disabled when using the typing board-
Thanks for help!
