12.04 work on this HP DL380 G4 VESA. but 12.10 stop on low graphics

Asked by David Wassell

I tried to up grade from 12.04 LTs to 12.10 on this machine {not on this drive}
The first upgrade was in completed and If the mouse worked you could get pass the "Low Graphic" warning
after doing "Upgrades " it stopped at "low graphics warning
also it will not accept and atemped to re in stall 12.04
So what is difference between 12.04 LTS start up that lets this run here live Ok
and 12.10 stops
I hope that I could just tranfer the start up From 12.04 to 12.10
or just remove THE LOW GRAPHICS instuctions from the disc on make a new one
So can you point me in the right files
Thanks

Try:

echo "mach64" | sudo tee -a /etc/modules > /dev/null

Reboot to test.
