Compatibilidad toshiba M645

Compre una Toshiba M645 y quiero instalar ubuntu 12.04 LTS porq en mis tiempos libres me dedico al desarrollo. Es compatible? o q pasos debo seguir para no tener problemas de controladores...

Tengo una netbook acer D255E y está con ubuntu 11.1 y algunas veces me viene el problema con la wi-fi o el modem del movil...pero me fue bien en desarrollo
