how to edit startup in kubuntu 11.10

Always at startup, appear Dolphin, how do I cancel this call?

go to your "~/.kde/Autostart"-folder remove Dolphin from there !! Hope it will help

and for GUI you can try going into the Control Center --> KDE Components --> Session Manager then in the On Login option make sure Start with an empty session is checked.

I'm a user not any more, what it means "~/.kde/Autostart" or GUI

type this in your terminal window

cd ~/.kde/Autostart

then remove Dolphin shortcut from this folder using "rm" command

I dont know where is Control Center, my system only has System Control and there is nothing about KDE Components

Problem was solved, System Setting--System Administration--Startup and Shutdown--Session Management, I uncheck Restore previous session and check Start with an empty session.
