Where can I get n driver for a samsung z400 phone to use as a modem for my pc?

I am VERY new to linux but are very interrested. I want to connect to the internet to download drivers so I can watch DVD's,play games and listen to mp3's. I connect my phone via USB, but it ubuntu 7.04 does not want to pick it up. How would I go about doing this?

NS Funny how I need the internet to get help on getting on the internet!

Alright well firstly, DVD/MP3 playback... Technically it is illegal in
*many* places to install the required libraries without a license (the
license is part of a windows license)

What you'll want to do is install ubuntu-restricted-extras, and
libdvdcss (This you might have to find on your own, try searching for
the Medibuntu Repositories). I don't want to directly link to detailed
information on libdvdcss, as again, it's sort of illegal where I am
without license.

you might want to create a new ticket with more specific information
about the phone, so that gets noticed.
