Hi,

First of all, which GPU do you have? If it's from AMD/ATI or NVidia, you'll probably need to install the proprietary driver for it in Ubuntu.

If you have an NVidia GPU, follow instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/Nvidia
If you have an ATI/AMD GPU, there are instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/ATI

You should not install any graphics drivers through Wine. Wine can't make use of those Windows drivers anyway, and it's more likely to cause problems with the Wine install than to help.

When I go to the "Additional Drivers" section under "System", nothing shows up. There is a .run file on the AMD website, but I click on it and the mouse shows it is working in the background, but when I go type in "fglrxinfo" in the terminal, it shows up as an error.
