error message appear while updating

yes
both on terminal and update manager,the problem exists

Have you tried this?:
open terminal
type sudo apt-get update
after that finishes type sudo apt-get upgrade

i always update & upgrade my system by these commands in terminal

I'm at a loss at the moment... I don't think I've ever had that problem before. I will try to do as much research as I possibly can for you. If I can't help you maybe someone else can but I'll try my best. Thanks
