Upgraded to 10.04 from 9.10, not booting, busybox, initramfs

Hello,
I've done upgradation from 9.10 to 10.04 using alternate cd.
Now its not getting boot, instead it goes to busybox and some initramfs.
Help me.

Keep on the same thread, creating identical threads when you have an active thread already just clutters the place
