Make sure the cd is free of scratches and dust. clean if if nessasary. sometimes a bad cd will be produced, if you ordered more than one cd you should try a different one. other wise you may be left with making a new request.

well Gord, if i need to make another order, is there any place to mention that my previous ordered CD is defective thats why i am ordering a new one, otherwise they may not approve my order.

Seeing as you only ordered one CD, you should be able to simply reorder it on Shipit. I think that would be your best course of action. :)

Just go to shipit.ubuntu.com and order some more CDs.

You should not need to make any special requirements.
