How can a pimp speed up his server, something went wrong now my Reloads are taking 5min !

Asked by Aztec13

i just installed and i was putting in the restricted media playback access servers ,switching the packages to xubuntu through a tutorial no less. now the server I use to load my programs from that should say mexico is blank and I found some little 2-bit scan that did a "test" to find my ideal server location upon closer inspection it told me was in New Zealand !haven't found any server location that lets me reload my repositories in the normal tim i am in tijuana but any of the southwestern locations aren't worth a hoot. how do i get to put mexico back in as my server country, and what would really be my ideal server location ? it was reloading in less then a minute now its 5

The locator should find you the best posible server.

BUt if you got new zealand now, just change the nz with a mx in you
/etc/apt/sources.list

That should do the trick.

Good luck!
