For 10.04 upgrade from 8.04 got error "Could not install 'nvidia-glx-new'"

Error dialog received was:

Could not install 'nvidia-glx-new'

The upgrade will continue but the 'nvidia-glx-new' package may not be in a working state. Please consider submitting a bug report about it.

subprocess installed post-removal script returned error exit status 2

Tadiv,

The package "nvidia-glx-new" does not exist in Lucid, the nvidia drivers have a different name now.

I'm not clear where in the installation/upgrade you currently are. Perhaps you could uninstall nvidia-glx-new, then proceed with the upgrade and once in Lucid, reinstall nvidia through System / Admin / Hardware Drivers?

This seems OK -- I found the menu.lst file (the installer put it on the wrong drive) and there is a good nvidia driver running...
