how to get the log of the synaptic package manger?

Have a look at the following logs to see if what you're looking for is there:

   /var/log/apt/history.log
   /var/log/dpkg.log

How would i get the log of apache2? Beacuse i have to mainly deal with it.

For apache2 logs look in:

/var/log/apache2

You'll find: access.log error.log other_vhosts_access.log
