Ubuntu will not install

I have a dell inspiron e1505 notebook with a core 2 duo T7200, x1400 mobile videocard, and 2 gigs of ram. Whenever i boot from the feisty cd, i get errors about not finding drivers and my graphical controller isn't configured right. i can't go any further with the instillation. how can i install this on my laptop?

You might consider trying the alternate CD installer, the LiveCd installer
can be picky about graphics. Which I presume you're talking about.
