Funambol-type Sync

I'm currently using Funambol (http://www.funambol.com), but it's only a 90 day demo/trial. I would like something more permanent.
Any suggestions? It doesn't have to be web-based, if there's something in Ubuntu/Kubuntu 9.10 I'd be pleased as punch.
Preferably not syncing with Evolution as I use Mozilla Thunderbird

OS ---> Ubunut/Kubuntu 9.10
Phone ---> HTC Tynt II

I've now switched to Evolution as it syncs beautifully with Google calendar
