Disable the safe browsing feature. To do that, go to “Edit >> Preferences >> Security”, uncheck “Block reported attack sites” and “Block reported web forgeries”.

It's strongly recommend using NoScript extension to block malicious scripts and AdBlock Plus to block third-party ad content, which might have malicious code.

hi wojox,
thanks for reply..
now i know why it darkens,
it is normal to pause and dark screen is the sign that the page i am looking contains some
harmful bacteria (virus/malicious code) that may affect firefox or my laptop.
and firefox is just protecting itself..
ok.. that is good tip..
disabling the safe browsing will require AdBlock to protect this machine..
for now, i will keep this firefox in default state,
the important thing is i now know why i am experiencing that stalling.

thanks so much !
