Unable to upgrade to 9.10 (Koala) from 9.04 (Jaunty)

Asked by Mannex

I'm running 9.04 (according to the about box). Launching the Upgrade Manager says everything is current. I want to upgrade to 9.10, but upgrade manager doesn't seem to notice that there is a new version. Any ideas?

in the terminal just type sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
then type the pw as it asks...it should install distribution upgrade.
or in the update manager settings you can enable distribution upgrade and then restart the application update manager.

bad color choice - child of the 60s, you know).
