I have installed invidia GeForce 6200 video card and have activated 3d effects on it and have also enabled desktop effects cube option.
Please could you tell how I can obtain workplaces on a spinning cube such as in above demonstration.

Thank you, shall read up what they say.
The demonstration itself merely shows an illustration of four workplaces on
sides of a cube (which is what I am trying to achieve!) and also the ability
to make the cube rotate so as to be able to access a required workspace.
