Black shadow on Top Panel

Asked by Bhalakumaran M

I am running ubuntu tweak 0.5.12 in 'Natty Narwhal' and every time ubuntu tweak window is maximized and then closed , a dark shadow appears over the top panel, which hides all the buttons on it. Though the buttons still work, when clicked on the respective positions.
I was able to reproduce this both in my desktop and laptop , but not with anyother application/ window .
Is this a problem with ubuntu-tweak or the gobalmenu ?

Sorry for not doing the obvious,
Here are the screenshots.
Without Shadow - http://img263.imageshack.us/i/withoutshadow.png/
Running ubuntu tweak - http://img809.imageshack.us/i/withshadow.png/
It persists even after closing ubuntu tweak, however restarting the session brings back the top panel.

Did you set a opacity panel?

Yes.. used compiz to set the transparency for the top panel.

So, it maybe a problem of Compiz/Unity or global menu. Because Ubuntu Tweak did nothing with the panel.
