This question was expired because it remained in the 'Open' state without activity for the last 15 days.

According to comment #2 this is solved since the team's admin replied to the requesters mail.

Hello,
I had been approved a while ago, but it seems the admin is not active
rather than accepting new members. I hope that we need to change the admin.
By the way, I am in summer vacation and I was planning to do a lot of
translations but lack of coordination within the group is really making me
disappointed.

Ismael

Hi Ismael,

It seems to me that the team would benefit from a new coordinator. If you guys decide this is the way to go, here's how to do it:

Cheers,
David.

Dear Mahdi,

The Somali translation group has been almost non-existent for a very long
time and has seen no activities. I don't know if the admin is still around.

It can certainly do with a reboot in my opinion.

All the best and regards,
Faisal

Dear Faisal Ali,

What can we do to restart the group.
I'm new here so I don't have any idea, but if anyone else can help us I think we need some help.
The Somali needs more hardworking people I think, our language need us, people wake up I beg you.

Thanks.

Hi,

can you try first to contact the admin of the group? (if you didn't do that already, and in that case, what was the outcome?)
If he doesn't reply in, let's say, a week, we have to forward your request to the Launchpad admin to change the admin of the group.

You also have to find another admin for the group, of course.

Hi Mahdi,

As Milo suggested, please contact the groups admin (Jama Barreh). If he
is no longer available or doesn't respond, then a request for a new
admin can be put forward if you wish.

As for the translations: You are right, there is a huge amount of work
to do. You can pick the project of your choice and start translating
immediately. I do the same from time to time.

regards,
Faisal
