Feedback on the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th - Yoda

I'm using 18.10 on X1 carbon 5th but it doesn't have fingerprint sensor driver support (138a:0097 Validity Sensors), any chance to get that driver or the original ubuntu image for X1 carbon 5th gen?

Hello,
unfortunately the fingerprint reader is badly supported in Linux world, it's not covered in our certification as well.

However, you can still give the latest 5.0 kernel a try to see if it works for you.
