Feedback on the Dell Latitude 3460 - Loveland 14 BDW

I am using Dell latitude 3460 laptop with os as ubuntu 14.04. I am not able to connect to any network through wireless interface, not showing any wifi networks evenif wifi is enabled in pc. But not observed similar issue with ubuntu 16.04. Please help on this.

Hi,

It has something to do with the driver.
If you want to use 14.04 Trusty, please try to update your system first, and then try to install the proprietary wireless driver for your system (if applicable).
Or use the 4.4 kernel on Trusty, run "sudo apt-get install linux-image-generic-lts-xenial"
