Feedback on the Dell Inspiron 17R (N7110) - Queen 17 Intel

My driver for video and the modem give me occasional problems. Bouts of display diver flickers and occasional download updates indicate inability to complete the update. any suggestions????? driver sourcing???

I have a dual boot system. I went to the win 10 side and updated using the
DriverUpdate software. I was able to use that software to update the bus
and the modem drivers. So far so good. Kill the question for now. I
believe Ubuntu will use the existing drivers versus replacing them. If
anyone started and wasted some time sorry. Regards bruce nelson question
