Feedback on the HP 250 G1 Notebook PC

It is impossible to install Ubuntu 13.10 on HP 250 G2 as well, because there is no suitable driver for the display graphics.
The screen remains black during installation. Fedora 20 can only install in safe mode, showing display settings "unkown", with poor graphics resolution.

Hello,
could you provide the PCI ID of your video controller?
Please run the following command in your terminal and paste the result back here ?
(Ctrl+Alt+F1 to switch to console)
lspci -nn | grep "\[03"

I guess it's the AMD chip.

thanks for your prompt reply,

I forward your mail to the vendor because I returned the notebook a few
days ago. Apparently they have succeeded in installing Ubuntu 13 by
manually installing at command prompt some extra drivers.
