Current Ubuntu One Sync being phased out

Asked by vtec

Hi everybody,

are there any contingency plans after the Ubuntu One based synchronization is being turned off (as of end of February 2013)?
Without the ability to synchronize with Tomboy notes this wonderfull tool becomes pretty useless.

For me it would be sufficient if the promised WebDAV pull (or even full sync) was delivered, as I have a WebDAV server at my disposal. Is somebody working on it?

If not ... I am a Java and C++ developer with not real Android experience would there be anybody willing to tell me bit more about what and where is needed?

Vitek

First someone should really audit the sync code...
