Hi

Apart from the 'L' shaped options bar in the bottom left hand corner,
the screen is completely blank. I was expecting something like a view of
the night sky as if standing in my garden. Am i missing the point?

many thanks

You can try to disable the use of OpenGL shaders. This is a new feature in 0.10.3 and it seems that it causes problems on many systems.

To disable shaders, open Stellarium's configuration file (config.ini). On Windows system, it's accessible through a short-cut in Stellarium's Start Menu folder.

In the file, find "use_glshaders" under "[main]" and change the value to "false" (without the quotation marks). Then save the files and start Stellarium.

Can you help with this problem?
