Solar System View

Asked by Joaquin Reyes

In Stellarium Planetarium Software, how to view solar system from outsite (View fromUp or View from Down) move the angle view and see the orbits of panets and other objects in the solar system, this can be possible with Stellarium Software?, this mean, have a simulation view from outside solar system with orbits, view in diferents angles. I know that Stellarium give views from other planets in solar system, but I need simulate the solar system viewing from outside. Thank You

You can use the solar system observer:

- From the search window [F3], search for solar system observer

- Ctrl+G will take you there

- Search for sun

- You can turn planet orbits on from the sky and viewing option window [F4}

You can add few new artifical objects like Solar System Observer with similar properties for opportunity view Solar System from different points of view and angles. But this will be non-free camera (or observer) of course.
