I have just loaded Sellarium on Win 7. I have set the correct location, Perth Australia, and set the correct time. At 11pm, Sellarium shows that it is day time at this location. How can I fix this???

Check your windows system clock time zone. Stellarium picks the time zone from the system. You can change the time zone by double clicking the time at the windows lower bar or through the control panel -> clock, language and region.

Yes, it appears that the clock is running backwards, the sun rises as it
is supposed to set. I have just re installed it and no change.

My system is windows 7. I have changed my windows time zone to be Perth Australia (UTC+8). I started Stellarium and set my location as Perth, Australia. Things look normal. Sun rises at around 5:10 AM and sets at around 7:15 PM.

Try this:
- Configuration Window -> Plugins -> click Time zone plugin -> Check "Load at startup" box if it is not checked
- Restart Stellarium
- Select Time zone plugin and click the "configure" button
- Under the time zone tab, check "Offset from UTC" and increase the value in the field to be 8:00
- Click the save settings button
- Restart Stellarium
Now Perth and Time zone should be in sync and Stellarium should show normal simulation views.
Good luck
