Stellarium

Stellarium runs at .5 to .6 FPS

Stellarium 10.6.1 on Windows Vista loaded good. When I run the program the image updates VERY slow. The FPS shows between .5 and .6 FPS. My system has a 1.8GHz Intel processor with 3 GB of memory, 32-bit operating system. All other programs and systems seem to working OK.

I have an ATI Radeon HD 4350. with a DAC of 400MHz. Graphics memory available 2303 MB,Dedicated Video Mem of 1024 MB. Shared system mem of 1279 MB

Also when I close Stellarium windows gives me a box that says stellarium has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.

Sounds like open gl acceleration is not working in your video driver. A driver update from ATI's site might help.

I down loaded the driver for vista and windows 7 instead of just vista. It
seems to run better, it's now atleast 15 tp 30 FPS. Thanks so much for your
help. Stellarium is a fantastic program! I'll updae the site ASAP.
