No you don´t need antivirus software in linux.

If you still want to install Avast,download deb package from their site.In terminal go to directory where you downloaded Avast with cd command ( for example if it is in Downloads) cd Downloads.After that
sudo dpkg -i <package_name>. Of course you will replace <package_name> with Avast package name.
