You need a web server and to setup a virtual host on it that proxies (or rewrites) links to schooltool server.

If you use Apache, see http://book.schooltool.org/apache.html
For Nginx, http://book.schooltool.org/nginx.html

And their respective documentation.

Nothing has been done to install schooltool "in the cloud". You need a (virtual) dedicated server with Ubuntu on it and root access.

i have a virtual server with ubuntu at the school. Schooltool is installed in bridge mood and i set the threads to 15 users at a time. i can access it on that lan. i dont know how to root access. I am using apache 2. i want teachers, stdents etc. from home to log in and access schooltool.

Could you present some clear steps as to do this. i have schooltool now installed in 3 schools and this is a problem for me, they cant access from where they want.

Thanks for that qick responce memesis, i really love that about you and the team.

The DNS server is not set up to point to the external IP of the school.
