Installation on CentOS 7

Asked by Jim McLaren

Hello,

I'm trying to install Rednotebook 1.10.2 on CentOS 7. There is no rpm available so I'm having to install from source. When I try to do this I get the following error:

Webkit was not found. It can be found in a package with the name python-webkit or pywebkitgtk.
No module named webkit

I've installed the webkitgtk-devel-2.2.4-1.el7 package, as I found a post in the CentOS forums that this would solve the problem. Unfortunately it appears not to have done so. Can you help please?

Thanks.

It seems the package pywebkitgtk was removed in Cent OS 7. I had a quick
search but also couldn't find any solutions, sorry.
