I've tested it quickly last night, but today I'll be testing it more
extensively. I will let you know by the end of the day if the problem seems
fixed.

Subject: [Bug 804792] Re: RedNotebook screen position not correctly remembered
when opened from system tray

I have created a new installer that should fix the problem here
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4780737/rednotebook-1.1.7b1.exe

Can you try it and report if it solves the issue, please?

Title:
RedNotebook screen position not correctly remembered when opened from
  system tray

Status in RedNotebook - A Desktop Journal:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Occasionally, when opening RedNotebook from the system tray, no window
appears. When I open the configuration.cfg file, I see that both mainFrameX and
mainFrameY have been set to -32000. Manually changing them to 0, and restarting
RedNotebook remedies the problem.

  Anybody else has this problem?

  I'm working on a multi-monitor system, running Windows 7 Pro x64 with
all the latest updates. I'm not sure if this has to do with multiple
monitors, but I do not normally move the application window from one
monitor to the next and back. Just now it happened with RedNotebook
only being run on the primary monitor. The main window wasn't moved or
resized since the app was started this morning, only minimized to the
  system tray.

  Tx.

  Charles.
