Internet? By request...

Asked by Rev Lou

So I was reading around the launchpad questions...I have my logoan as sysadmin in the Xubuntu area, with an "admin" specified account labelled "Mom" and a "desktop user" account for the baby...(7 years old...).

Well...we "discovered" KidZUI. We WANT to make it accessible, but of course, NOT with the "rest" of the internet.

Am I dreaming, or is this a "do-able" thing?

I can't sing the praises of the O/S loudly enough....

As long as they are using KidZUI to access the internet, it seems to do
a very good job of keeping them from accessing inappropriate content. I
don't know of any way to prevent them from using other programs to
access the internet, aside from simply removing those programs from
their menu.
