Possibility to login to jamendo.com?

Asked by thackert

Hello,
I have registered in the past to jamendo.com, created a playlist there and have created a page with my musical preferences there. Is there a possibility to login via pyjama to get my favorit albums and the like? Do you plan to add this feature in the more or less future? That would be a nice feature :)
TIA
Thomas.

Hi Thomas,

thanks for your interest in pyjama. Actually the desired features are already available:

-> In order to import your Jamendo-Playlists, you need to click Playlists->Import playlists from jamendo.
-> Importing your favorite albums is also possible: Just click Extras->Import starred albums.

I hope, that this will help you.

Sincerely,

Daniel

sorry to say, but not really ... :(

Done. But that leeds to a playlist with only two albums in it ... :(
If you look at http://www.jamendo.com/de/playlist/141731, you will
see, that there are much more ... ;)

As well here: I get the message, that three albums were imported, so
there are much more on http://www.jamendo.com/de/user/thackert/ ....
:( But where do I find them, after they are imported?

For that reason I have hoped, that there is a possibility to
login from inside Pyjama, and then to import my playlist and/or my
favorite albums into an empty playlist ... ;)

> I hope, that this will help you.

Not really, sorry ... :(
Nonetheless thank you for your work on this amazing program :) Now
if I only could use my local music files as well ... ;)
Have fun and sorry for the hassle ... :(
Thomas.

Hi Thomas!

You are right, I found two bugs concerning the number of results being fetched from jamendo.

I pushed the new version to branch - you should be able to get it via Bazar!

Thanks for reporting this - what a nasty mistake of mine :/.

Sincerely,

Daniel

P.S. Please tell me, it it still doesn't work for you in revision 268. I tried it on my pc and it worked - although importing almost 1,000 tracks took a whole lot of time. In order to acces your stared albums, simply press F7 in Pyjama or have a look at the browse-menu.

Hello Daniel,
is there a possibility to answer without open my question again?

Ah, O.K. And I thought, I was too blonde to handle pyjama ... ;)

Great :) Though I have never handled bazaar ... :( Maybe I will find
an instruction on the launchpad site ... ;)

I will try it. But then I will answer to it in the bug ... ;)
Have a nice evening
