It's certainly slowed down - I haven't had very much free time to work on it lately

Sadly Pinta seems to be abandonware: Last stable release was four years ago: https://github.com/PintaProject/Pinta/releases
Would be great to move completely to Github where is more possible to find people to maintain it.
