Are the developers okay with the current copyright?

Asked by DarkLinkXXXX

Currently, the license is set to "Anti Copyright 2013" to reflect my political standpoint on copyright law. But I was wondering, would any of those joining this project prefer something different?

I prefer using a standard open source license, I think it would attract more developers and users having a well known, widely used license

#1 Okay. Is the WTFPL fine with you? (Sorry, I prefer to avoid legal entanglements ;)

So what should the license be instead?

For my own projects, I'll use the Affero GPL v3, if I'm at all concerned about keeping the distribution of the application as a hosted service free and open source. If that's not such a big deal for the project, I like the MIT or BSD license. MIT is like the WTFPL without the colorful language but better recognition.

As colorful as the WTFPL license is - I agree that we should use a more "standard" license so that the project will be taken seriously. :)
