Peppermint killed Kompozer after an update, very sad,

Asked by Easy

Peppermint killed off Kompozer after an update, (the most recent), very sad, as Kompozer is so good and easy to use for amateur website building.

PLEASE, could Ubuntu, et al, support/provide Kompozer in Linux ISOs, and/or, to be downloaded via Software Manager.

Liked Peppermint 6, very steady, very good with BB/Wifi, suggest a little icon for the entire boot process, blank screen for the whole process is a bit unnerving, esp to first-time users..?

Hi Manfred,

TVM for your prompt reply, very sad re Kompzer, can you recommend
something else that will go with the Mint Family, (Bluefish is much too
complicated), with a wysiwyg type-in window, etc, like Kompozer..?

Bug #1065547 comment #6 recommends gwrite.
I have no experience with that, do not know if it fulfills your needs, and am not sure whether it is available in mint.

Maybe you can get a proposal for other programs when asking in a mint forum.

Can you help with this problem?
