Preview pane for Files ver 0.3.4 using elementary OS 0.4 Loki

Please see screenshot for clearest explanation.

Prefer to specify preview behavior by file type, for example:
Text files [txt, pdf, log..etc.] could be previewed while browsing and optionally edited in preview pane Image files [jpg, gif, png..etc.] could be previewed while browsing and optionally zoom for example Compressed files [zip, tar, rar..etc.] could list compressed files and optionally extract individual files

Ideal solution would preserve original theming as pictured above.
Failing that I'm open to replacement/other recommendations.

Also wondering if some of the below listed (which appear under AppCenter) could help accomplish any of the above described features.
