Asked by Aung

I am trying Openshot in PuppyLinux. How do I have O's find Puppy,s GTK. There is GTK 2-0 in /usr/lib64 but putting a link into /usr/share/O's doesnt work. Aung

# ./openshot.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "./openshot.py", line 21, in <module>
    import gtk, locale
ImportError: No module named gtk

I loaded all Python debs from 9.10 what Cenwen said here.

Now I get this!

# ./openshot.py
bash: ./openshot.py: /usr/bin/python: bad interpreter: Permission denied
#

So I am going to download AVlinux to have a look at O'shot

You will need the pygtk installed. There are many other dependencies for
OpenShot that will need to be satisfied after you solve the gtk one. I
don't know much about Puppy Linux, but hopefully you can look at our DEB
installers and our PPA and learn what you need to from them about what
dependencies, where files need to live, etc... Good luck.
