help! how to display multple scenes within a frame

Just getting started, how does one create this effect:

2, 3 & 6 inset frames

Thanks for the question! This effect is accomplished by combining a few
different things. First, each clip needs to be on it's own track (each clip
starting at the same time). Then try this, right click on the top clip
(i.e. the clip on the highest track) and choose "Layout --> 1/4 Size - Top
Left". Now the top clip should only be 1/4 the size of the screen, and
aligned to the top left. The lower clips can be positioned to the Top
Right, Bottom Left, and Bottom right. That will give you 4 clips playing at
the same time.

To add more than 4 clips, or make each one a different size and position,
use the "Clip Properties" screen, and the "Layout" tab. Just be sure the
set both the "Start" and "End" layout settings for each clip.
