install problems, program crashes

Libc6 needed by the install is older then installed on my system. As a result it doesn't install correctly, doesn compile and the program doesn't start of course.

I use Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy

To update, This problem is occuring on my laptop. On my 64 bits hardy it installed fine, but when I import a file the program closes. I used ffmpeg option 1 at install.

How did you determine what version of Libc6 is needed? Did you get an error message during the build wizard? Also, we will soon have some .DEB installers ready, which should work just fine... hopefully. Thanks!

Hello

It was determined by the compiler, it said so. I just wait for the deb
installer, don't bother right now.
