Older/Newer version for Ubuntu 14.04

Asked by grandkadolz

Hello, I am a new user.
I have Ubuntu 14.04 installed for the first time. Are there any considerations installing the version of Open Shot for 9-04?

I don't quite understand. Are you on 14.04 or on 9.04 ?
If you are on 14.04 the answer is no.
If you are on 9.04 you never don't have the last version. (i.e 1.4.3)

Hello and thank you for the quick answer. Yes, I have 14.04 and I am
looking for a non linear video editor for my home videos. I would welcome
any suggestions.

>>>Hello and thank you for the quick answer

YOu are a lucky man, I've been disconnected from my computer and openshot since more than 3 months.....

No, you can use it even on an netbook even for some files you'll need them to convert in another format like DNxHD with EnKodeur-Mixeur for sample.
