I need to convert an osp file to an mp4 can someone help?

Asked by Jordan

I have a computer that has ubuntu and decided to trim a video through openshot. Having done so, i put the file on my flash drive to transfer it to my computer which uses windows 8. The video will not open and i'm unsure as to why this happens. I figure i might need to convert to an mp4 file (which i have already tried) or do something else, but don't know what. Any suggestions?

I copy/paste the answer that I've done there are few minutes ago about the
same question :
Osp format is an Openshot format done
when you are doing an operation on Openshot i.e add avideo, a
transition,......that you could used later if you have not finished it or
if you want to modified something but it is not a export format. You have a
export screen for that.
You should take a look at our online documentation for knowing how openshot
works here : https://answers.launchpad.net/openshot/+faq/691

To convert or change the format of video files, I recommend DRmare Media Converter for Mac. It can help convert video files to plain video formats with lossless quality. Then you can use them on other devices with ease.

For audio and video conversion, I use Joyoshare Media Cutter. Like OpenShot, it's also a professional video editor with the ability to convert media files to any other format at 60X speed.

Can you help with this problem?
