Hi,

Simply put them side by side, check the result with the preview and after export them. Unfortunately, they will be encoded (and not copied).
Take a look at our manual for knowing how Openshot works and what he can offers you. Available in several languages. You can have it when Openshot is open Menu>help>manual or just F1
http://www.openshotusers.com/help/en/
Good luck

I think you misunderstand me.
I want to merge some clips together inside OpenShot, so I can move the merged clip around inside OpenShot, not to export or render.

Probably. Sorry for this mistake.

You cant' do that in Openshot. You should try TraGtor for that(). it will be a better choice than a Video Editor, to my mind.

Can you explain me what TraGtor is?. I have posted the same question as Carsten...... and the answer was that Openshot has not a tool for moving together several clips.

I think it should be possible to merge clips together in Openshot.
If you can split a clip into several clips, it should be possible to put them together again.

That´s no the idea. If you have for ex 10 clips and then you find that you want to insert a new one at the begining, it will be esasier to move all the clips together than one by one, So how to join them to be moved together?

@Adriana
TraGtor is a GUi for FFmpeg. Selecting multiple file will allow you to have one file after.

Hi,

I have the same problem, and I hope there will be an option to do this in OpenShot. Imagine this situation:

1. I made an 1 sec transition, but I then I find it too long!
2. I split that section of the clip and keep transition parameters (zoom actually) only on second part (0.5 sec no change, 0.5 sec zoom)
3. Some days later I change my mind, and I want the transition to take 0.75 sec, so I need to join the two 0.5 sec parts and make a different split of them and set "start-frame" "end-frame" parameters on the now 0.75 sec part.

There is no way.

Should I make that as a "feature request" instead?

TIA

Yeah, you should open for that a bug report. Another member of the Team will decide if it will be possible in the future and if somebody would like to work on it.
Thanks.

Merge clips into one with OpenShot Video Editor? Personally, it's complicated. I have tried but I give up. Now, I use an easy-to-use video merger developed by Joyoshare team called Joyoshare Video Joiner. It helps me to merge my YouTube videos with original quality within munites.

Can you help with this problem?
