OpenShot under Ubuntu 10.04?

Asked by jbearden

I tried to install OpenShot, but I'm running Ubuntu 10.04, which was not one of the OS options offered. The script bombed out on all the available choices. Is there a version that will run under the current version (10.04) of Ubuntu? And how about the next one (10.10), which is just about to be released? Thanks--

To install OpenShot in Ubuntu 10.04 simply use the Software Center. Or you
can add our PPA and install it that way. Instructions are on the download
page for the PPA. Good luck.

Thanks-- I couldn't find the "Software Center" (?), but the "PPA" (command-line) approach worked-- I got it installed, and it seems to be working. Now I just have to learn how to use it ...
