add hotel module in openerp 7

Asked by Vibha Upadhya

Hi,

I want to add Hotel Module in OpenERP 7. I have added Hotel Moule folder to the addons folder in (/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/openerp/addons). After that I updated Modules list from Settings and then restarted openerp server. But It is still not appearing in Modules List..

Please help me.
Thanks in advance..
Vibha

Vibha,

You might wish to see https://code.launchpad.net/~serpentcs/hotel-management-system/hotel-7.0 an opensource HMS.

If you did not get the modules, you have to make sure they are put in right addons path and on module list, you cleared the search criteria 'installed' on right top.

Thanks.

Vibha,

The link I gave you contains all information of the module.

If you want to download Addons separately, you should download from https://code.launchpad.net/~openerp/openobject-addons/7.0

Thanks.

You can simply put the (new) module folder (structure) under existing
addons folder. Or, you can create a new 'addons' folder (and put your
new folder structure in it) and include that new 'addons' folder in the
addons path when starting openerp (server).

Mind you to click on the Update Module menu to let OpenERP knows that
there are new modules to list.
