window size problem

Asked by ASTROdidactico

About last version 10.5.1 community edition it cannot reconize the size of the window I choose in the config.ini file. NightShade now is ALL the screen, how can I change it and choose the window size I like?

(I tried also changing diferent resolutions in the Menu (1), but don't reduce the size of the window)

Nightshade now defaults to fullscreen mode. If you wish to run windowed
then edit the 'fullscreen' line in config.ini to 'false'.

Which operating system are you on and what is the full path of the
config.ini you're editing?

Also, 768x768 is an invalid resolution. It will default to 1024x768 in
this case.

I have Windows 7
I changed to 1024 x 768 and it is the same
before I used 768 x 768 and it woeked fine
but anyway it is not workling with 1024 x 768
do you want to see the congig.ini file?

The two pieces of information that would help the most are,

1. Operating system and version.
2. The full path to the config.ini you're editing. E.g.
/some/path/config.ini.

Sorry, I was informed by a higher power that 768x768 is indeed valid for
windowed mode ;-) My mistake.

1. Win 7 Home premium
2. C:\Nightshade\config\congig.ini

On Windows systems, the config.ini that is used is in the user's local
application data directory. The start menu shortcut for the config.ini
should point to the correct config.ini file. If it doesn't then it's a
bug, but you can navigate to the directory manually; it's
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\/Local/\/Application Data/\nightshade.

Now it is working fine,
it is done, thanks Tristan.

P.E. Included I can choose estrange resolutions as 980 x 980, 920 x 920 and it works fine.
