I installed and us ubuntu on my eee pc 1000 using wubi, I came tried the eeebntu/remix and it is really nice. Do I need to delete Ubuntu via windows and then do a hard install on the remix and assign it a drive. Since I have done upgrades to ubunutu since it is install via wubi, will everything be removed?

Yes, everything will be removed! Can you tell us why you want to do a hard install on the eeepc? This remix is not "production ready" yet!

I have netbook remix installed on eee pc 900 with Ubuntu 8.04. Remix is very functional. There are only some minor issues that do affect usability.

Can you report the usability issues that you have? For instance, I find that the application launcher is quite slow. Is that the type of thing you find? I dare say, it would be relatively easy to create a small script that would reinstall your system as it is now? Do you know what packages you have installed?

I was interested because the remix looks great. After using diswrapper I got wifi in ubuntu working. But remix works out of the box. My wubi install works fine. But I thought I would get speed with remix
