myth status missing in 9.04 ssh login

Asked by Jim Garten

After upgrading to 9.04, I no longer have a mythtv status when I ssh into the computer. On 8.04 Myhtbuntu I would receive a log in message telling me what the disk status was and what the recorder status was. It also stated when the next recording was planned. It is now missing. can I get that back, can i copy it from an an older myth.iso or something

thnx

You must have run into a broken package, try this, it should resolve it:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install mythtv-status

Perhaps you upgraded at a time when mythtv status was broke. Do you
have upgrade logs? it might be worth looking through them to see what
reason it provides for justifying mythtv status removal.
